How to do it

  1. Stand in a boxing stance with your feet shoulder-width apart, left foot forward, and hands up in a guard position near your chin.
  2. Rotate your hips and shoulders, extending your right arm forward in a straight line to throw a cross.
  3. Quickly retract your right arm back to the guard position.
  4. Repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions.

Form tips

  • Keep your non-punching hand up to protect your face and maintain a balanced stance.
  • Engage your core to generate power and maintain stability.
  • Rotate your back foot and hips to add power to the cross.
