How to do it
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding the resistance band with both hands in front of you. Your arms should be straight, and hands shoulder-width apart.
- Slowly lift the band overhead while slightly spreading your hands to stretch the band.
- Hold this position for a few seconds and slowly return to the starting position with the band in front of you.
- Repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions.
Form tips
- Keep your arms straight but not locked to avoid joint strain.
- Ensure the resistance band has appropriate tension to provide an effective stretch without causing discomfort.
- Perform the stretch slowly and with control to maximize muscle activation and reduce the risk of injury.
