How to do it

  1. Attach the resistance band to a low anchor point behind you. Stand facing away from the anchor point, holding a handle in each hand with your palms facing up.
  2. Position one leg forward and the other back, with both knees slightly bent, keeping your back straight and your arms extended down and slightly behind you.
  3. Raise the handles up and together in a wide arc, bringing them to meet at head level while keeping a slight bend in your elbows.
  4. Slowly lower your arms back to the starting position with control. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Form tips

  • Exhale as you raise the handles and inhale as you lower them back down.
  • Use a lighter resistance band if needed to ensure proper form and gradually increase the resistance as you get stronger.
  • Focus on squeezing your upper chest muscles at the top of the movement.
