How to do it

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding the ends of a resistance band anchored at head height in front of you. Keep your arms extended straight forward just higher than shoulder height with palms facing down.
  2. Pull the band towards your chin by bending your elbows out to the sides, focusing on squeezing your shoulder blades together.
  3. Slowly return to the starting position, extending your arms back to shoulder height.
  4. Repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions.

Form tips

  • Breathe steadily, exhaling as you pull the band towards your chin and inhaling as you return to the starting position.
  • Focus on squeezing your shoulder blades together at the top of the movement to maximize rear delt engagement.
  • Adjust the band’s resistance by stepping on it closer to or farther from the anchor point.
