How to do it
- Set up a barbell in a landmine attachment or securely place one end of the barbell in a corner. Stand to the side of the barbell with your feet shoulder-width apart, barbell extending behind. Bend at the hips and knees, keeping your back straight, and grip the barbell with your hand.
- Start with your arm fully extended, allowing the barbell to hang straight down.
- Pull the barbell towards your side by bending your elbow and squeezing your back at the peak of the movement.
- Slowly lower the barbell back to the starting position, fully extending your arm. Repeat the movement for the desired repetitions.
Form tips
- Maintain a neutral spine throughout the exercise to avoid straining your lower back.
- Engage your core to help stabilize your body and prevent unnecessary movement.
- Use a controlled motion to lift and lower the barbell, preventing any jerking movements.
