How to do it
- Begin by lying flat on your back with your arms and legs extended in a starfish position. Hold a dumbbell in your right hand and keep the left hand firm on the floor.
- Engage your core and lift your left leg and right arm simultaneously, aiming to touch the dumbbell to your left foot.
- Reach as high as possible, squeezing your abdominal muscles at the top of the movement.
- Lower your arm and leg back to the starting position in a controlled manner. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch to holding the dumbbell in your left hand and raising your right leg.
Form tips
- Ensure your movements are slow and controlled to maximize muscle engagement.
- Keep your non-working arm and leg extended on the floor for balance.
- Focus on using your abs to lift your arm and leg, not your neck or shoulders.
