How to do it

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell in each hand. Bend your knees slightly and hinge forward at the hips, keeping your back straight and your torso almost parallel to the floor.
  2. Begin with your arms bent at 90 degrees, elbows close to your sides, and dumbbells hanging down.
  3. Extend both arms straight back by straightening your elbows, keeping your upper arms stationary and close to your body. Focus on squeezing your triceps at the top of the movement.
  4. Slowly bend your elbows to return the dumbbells to the starting position. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Form tips

  • Keep your back flat and avoid rounding your shoulders.
  • Keep your head in a neutral position, looking slightly forward.
  • Exhale as you extend your arms back and inhale as you return to the starting position.
