How to do it
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding an EZ bar with an overhand grip. Raise the bar overhead until your arms are fully extended, with your hands positioned closer together on the bar.
- Keep your elbows close to your head and slowly lower the bar behind your head by bending your elbows.
- Lower the bar until your arms are fully bent.
- Extend your elbows to raise the bar back to the starting position, fully extending your arms overhead.
Form tips
- Ensure your elbows remain close to your head throughout the movement to effectively target the triceps.
- Use a controlled motion and avoid swinging the bar or using momentum.
- Avoid locking your elbows at the top of the movement to maintain tension on the triceps.
