Lie chest first on an incline bench, holding an EZ barbell with palms facing the floor, hands positioned shoulder-width apart. Hold the barbell close to your shoulders, just under your face, with elbows bent.
Press the barbell forward in a straight line until your arms are fully extended, keeping the bar parallel to the floor.
Pause briefly at the end of the movement, ensuring your arms are straight and the barbell is fully extended forward.
Return the barbell back to the starting position with control, bringing it close to your shoulders. Repeat the exercise.
Form tips
Avoid using momentum; focus on a controlled and steady motion.
Exhale as you press the barbell forward and inhale as you lower it.
Focus on using your shoulders to press the weight, minimizing lower back involvement.
