How to do it
- Begin by lying on your back with your legs straight on the floor close together. Hold a dumbbell with both hands, keeping your arms bent and behind your head, close to the floor.
- Engage your core muscles and lift your torso off the floor while bending your knees and raising them to your chest, and bringing the dumbbell close to your knees.
- Lower your body back to the starting position with control. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

- Exhale as you crunch up and inhale as you lower back down.
- Start with a lighter weight to master the form before progressing to heavier weights.
- Perform the movement slowly and with control to maximize muscle engagement and avoid injury.
