How to do it
- Begin in a plank position with your hands directly under your shoulders and your body forming a straight line from head to heels.
- Lift your right hand off the floor and tap your left shoulder, keeping your hips stable and minimizing rotation.
- Return your right hand to the starting position.
- Repeat the movement with your left hand, lifting it off the floor and tapping your right shoulder. Alternate sides for the desired number of repetitions.
Form tips
- Keep your hips level throughout the movement to maintain proper form and avoid rotating your torso.
- Perform the exercise on a stable, non-slip surface to prevent slipping and ensure safety.
- Keep your shoulders directly over your wrists to maintain alignment and reduce strain on your shoulders.
