How to do it
- Lie flat on your back with your arms by your sides and a loop resistance band around your thighs, just above your knees. Keep your legs extended and together.
- Engage your core to lift your right leg straight up towards the ceiling, keeping the resistance band taut and your left leg flat on the floor.
- Slowly lower your leg back down with control, stopping just before your heel touches the floor.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch to lifting your left leg.
Form tips
- Focus on engaging your abdominals throughout the movement.
- Avoid lifting your lower back off the floor; keep it pressed down for the duration of the exercise.
- Maintain a slight bend in your knee if necessary to reduce strain.
