How to do it
- Lie on your side with your forearm on the ground, elbow directly under your shoulder
- Stack your feet on top of each other or place top foot in front for more stability
- Lift your hips off the ground so your body forms a straight diagonal line from head to feet
- Hold this position while keeping your core tight and hips lifted, then switch sides
Form tips
- Keep your body in a straight line - don't let hips sag
- Stack your shoulders, hips, and feet in alignment
- Engage your obliques to maintain the position
- Breathe normally throughout the hold
