How to do it

  1. Adjust the suspension trainer handles to about chest height. Stand facing the handles with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding the handles with your arms extended straight in front of you and palms facing down.
  2. Engage your core and lean back slightly, keeping your body straight from head to heels.
  3. Keeping your arms straight, raise the handles upward until your arms are fully extended above your head, forming a straight line with your body.
  4. Slowly lower the handles back to the starting position with control. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Form tips

  • Keep tension in the suspension trainer straps throughout the exercise.
  • Avoid letting your hips sag to maintain proper body alignment.
  • If you feel strain in your lower back, readjust your position and ensure your core is engaged.
