How to do it
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a barbell with an underhand grip at shoulder width
- Keep your elbows fixed at your sides and curl the bar upward toward your shoulders
- Squeeze your biceps hard at the top position when the bar is near your shoulders
- Lower the bar slowly and with control back to the starting position with arms fully extended
Form tips
- Keep your elbows stationary - don't let them move forward or backward
- Keep your body stable without swinging or using momentum
- Use the full range of motion from completely straight to fully curled
- Control the weight during the lowering phase, don't just drop it
