How to do it
- Sit upright on a bench positioned between two cable pulley machines with the pulleys set at a high position. Hold a handle in each hand with an overhand grip (palms facing forward), arms fully extended above you.
- Pull the handles down towards your shoulders by bending your elbows and bringing them downwards, keeping them close to your body.
- Slowly extend your arms back to the starting position with control.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Form tips
- Keep your back straight and avoid using momentum.
- Focus on squeezing your shoulder blades together at the bottom of the movement.
- Exhale as you pull the handles down and inhale as you extend them back up.
