How to do it
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell in each hand with your arms fully extended and palms facing your body.
- Pull the dumbbells up towards your armpits by bending your elbows. Your elbows should be pointing out to the sides.
- Lower the dumbbells back to the starting position in a controlled manner. Repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions.
Form tips
- Keep your back straight and avoid rounding your shoulders during the exercise.
- Maintain a slight bend in your knees to reduce strain on your lower back.
- Breathe out as you lift the dumbbells and breathe in as you lower them.
