How to do it
- Set an incline bench to a 45-degree angle and sit back against it, holding a dumbbell in each hand at shoulder height with elbows bent and facing the floor, with an underhand grip (palms facing back).
- Press the dumbbells upward until your arms are fully extended above your chest, maintaining the underhand grip.
- Lower the dumbbells back to shoulder height with control, keeping your elbows close to your body. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Form tips
- Exhale as you press the dumbbells upward and inhale as you lower them.
- Choose a weight that allows for proper form and control throughout the exercise.
- Use a controlled motion, focusing on the muscles being worked.
