How to do it
- Hang from a bar with an overhand grip and straight arms, shoulders packed down.
- Brace your core and pull your straight body up until it is horizontal and parallel to the floor.
- Keep your arms locked and drive your hips up using your lats, not momentum.
- Lower back to the dead hang under control and repeat.
Form tips
- Keep your arms perfectly straight and pull from the lats and lower chest.
- Posteriorly tilt your pelvis and squeeze your glutes to stop your hips sagging.
- Tuck the knees to regress the movement if you cannot hold a straight body.
