How to do it
- Sit on the floor with your legs extended straight in front of you and your arms placed on the floor slightly behind you for support.
- Engage your core and lift your torso off the floor, bringing your knees towards your chest to form a V shape with your body.
- Hold the top position for a moment, squeezing your abdominal muscles.
- Lower your legs and torso back to the starting position with control. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Form tips
- Breathe steadily, exhaling as you lift into the V position and inhaling as you lower back down.
- Avoid using momentum to lift your legs and torso; focus on using your abdominal muscles.
- Keep your back straight and avoid rounding your shoulders to maintain proper form.
