How to do it

  1. Stand with your right side facing near a wall with your feet shoulder-width apart. Extend your right arm to the side at shoulder height and place your palm flat against the wall.
  2. Slowly turn your body away from the wall, keeping your arm extended and feeling a stretch in your chest and shoulder.
  3. Hold the stretch for 20-30 seconds, maintaining a gentle pressure.
  4. Return to the starting position and repeat the stretch on the left side. Perform the stretch for the desired number of repetitions on each side.

Form tips

  • Focus on keeping your extended arm straight and your palm flat against the wall.
  • Ensure your shoulders remain relaxed and avoid tensing them up towards your ears.
  • Use a gentle motion to avoid over-stretching and potential muscle strain.
