How to do it
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, keeping your posture upright. Raise your right arm overhead and allow your left hand to hang by your side.
- Gently lean your torso to the left, reaching your right arm over your head and feeling a stretch along the right side of your torso.
- Hold the stretch for 20-30 seconds, and slowly return to the starting position.
- Perform the stretch for the desired number of repetitions on each side.
Form tips
- Ensure your shoulders remain relaxed and avoid tensing them up towards your ears.
- Use a gentle motion to avoid over-stretching and potential muscle strain.
- Gradually increase the depth of the stretch as your flexibility improves.
