How to do it

  1. Adjust the suspension trainer handles to about knee height. Place your feet in the handles, ensuring they are secure, and assume a plank position with your hands placed slightly wider than shoulder-width apart on the floor.
  2. Engage your core, keeping your body in a straight line from head to heels.
  3. Bend your elbows and lower your chest towards the floor, keeping your elbows at a 45-degree angle to your body.
  4. Push through your hands to return to the starting position, straightening your arms. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Form tips

  • Breathe steadily: exhale as you push up and inhale as you lower down.
  • Focus on using your chest and triceps muscles to push yourself up, avoiding excessive use of your shoulders.
  • Ensure your feet are securely placed in the suspension trainer handles to prevent slipping.
