How to do it

  1. Adjust the suspension trainer handles close to the floor. Grasp the handles with an underhand grip (palms facing forward) and position your body in a straight line, feet together and arms fully extended.
  2. Engage your core and maintain a straight line from your head to your heels.
  3. Lower your chest towards the handles by bending your elbows, keeping your body straight and elbows close to your sides.
  4. Press through your hands to extend your arms and return to the starting position. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Form tips

  • Perform the movement with a steady and controlled tempo to maximize muscle engagement and prevent injury.
  • Breathe steadily: exhale as you push up and inhale as you lower your body.
  • Ensure your wrists are under your shoulders to maintain proper alignment.
