How to do it
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding to a weight cage for balance. Attach a resistance band to a low anchor point and loop the other end around your right ankle. Shift your weight onto your left leg.
- Curl your right leg by bending your knee, bringing your heel towards your glutes while keeping your upper leg stationary.
- Slowly return to the starting position, straightening your leg and controlling the resistance band.
- Repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions, then switch legs.
Form tips
- Focus on squeezing your hamstrings at the top of the movement to enhance muscle activation.
- Maintain an upright posture throughout the exercise; avoid leaning forward or backward.
- Keep your supporting knee slightly bent to maintain balance.
