Stand upright with your feet hip-width apart and your arms at your sides.
Step your right foot back into a lunge position, keeping your right leg straight and your heel on the floor. Bend your left knee slightly, keeping your left foot flat on the floor.
Lean forward slightly, pressing your hips downward and feeling the stretch in your right calf. Hold this position for 15-30 seconds.
Return to the starting position and switch legs, stepping your left foot back and repeating the stretch.
Form tips
Ensure your back leg remains straight and your heel stays on the floor to maximize the stretch in your calf.
Keep your front knee aligned with your ankle to avoid unnecessary strain on your joints.
Perform the stretch on a stable, non-slip surface to prevent slipping or discomfort.
