How to do it

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, placing the middle of the resistance band under both feet. Hold the handles of the resistance band with both hands and extend your arms overhead, keeping your elbows close to your ears and your palms facing each other.
  2. Lower the handles behind your head by bending your elbows until your forearms are about parallel to the floor, keeping your upper arms stationary.
  3. Extend your arms back to the starting position by straightening your elbows.
  4. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Form tips

  • Keep your elbows close to your ears and avoid flaring them out to isolate the triceps.
  • Keep your shoulders down and relaxed to avoid neck tension.
  • Exhale as you extend your arms and inhale as you lower them back down.
