How to do it
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and place the middle of a resistance band under your right foot. Hold one handle in each hand with your arms bent and hands close to your face sides.
- Step your left foot back into a lunge position, lowering your left knee towards the floor while keeping your right knee over your ankle.
- Push through your right heel to return to the starting position, bringing your foot forward to stand up straight.
- Repeat for the desired repetitions, then switch to the left leg.
Form tips
- Exhale as you push through your heel to stand up and inhale as you lower into the lunge.
- Keep your front knee aligned with your toes to avoid unnecessary strain.
- Focus on engaging your glutes and quadriceps throughout the movement.
