How to do it
- Adjust the suspension trainer handles to about waist height. Stand facing the handles, holding the handles with an overhand grip (palms facing down) just wider than shoulder width. Lean back with your body straight, heels on the floor, and arms extended.
- Engage your back and pull your chest towards the handles by bending your elbows and squeezing your shoulder blades together.
- Continue pulling until your chest is close to the handles and your elbows are almost fully bent.
- Slowly extend your arms back to the starting position with control. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Form tips
- Breathe steadily: exhale as you pull your chest towards the handles and inhale as you extend your arms back.
- Focus on using your back muscles to perform the row, avoiding excessive use of your arms.
- Adjust the angle of your body to increase or decrease the difficulty of the exercise.
