How to do it
- Kneel and place your forearms on the floor, interlacing your fingers to cradle the back of your head.
- Place the crown of your head on the floor inside your hands and lift your hips over your shoulders.
- Walk your feet in, then float your legs up until your body is vertical and stacked.
- Hold the balance with your core engaged, then lower one leg at a time under control.
Form tips
- Drive weight into your forearms to unload the neck; do not sink onto your head.
- Stack hips over shoulders over head and squeeze your legs together.
- Practise against a wall until your balance is reliable.
