How to do it
- Adjust the suspension trainer handles to about chest height. Stand facing the handles with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding the handles with your arms extended straight in front of you and palms facing each other.
- Engage your core and lean back slightly, keeping your body straight from head to heels.
- Pull the handles towards your face, bending your elbows and flaring them out to the sides until your hands are at face level.
- Slowly extend your arms back to the starting position with control. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Form tips
- Breathe steadily: exhale as you pull the handles towards your face and inhale as you return to the starting position.
- Focus on using your upper back and shoulder muscles to perform the pull, avoiding excessive use of your arms.
- Keep your shoulders relaxed and avoid shrugging them towards your ears.
