Cómo hacerlo

  1. Secure your feet at the end of a decline bench and lie back with your knees slightly bent. Hold a dumbbell in each hand close to your chest.
  2. Engage your core and lift your upper body off the bench by contracting your abdominal muscles, while simultaneously twisting your torso to the right.
  3. Squeeze your obliques at the top of the movement, ensuring that the contraction is felt along the side of your abdomen.
  4. Slowly lower your upper body back to the starting position and repeat the movement, this time twisting your torso to the left. Continue alternating sides for the desired number of repetitions.

Consejos de técnica

  • Breathe out as you twist and crunch, and breathe in as you return to the starting position.
  • Ensure your lower back stays in contact with the bench to support your spine.
  • Use a weight that challenges you but allows you to maintain proper form.
  • Keep your feet securely anchored to the bench to stabilize your body throughout the exercise.
