How to do it
- Stand tall with your back straight, feet shoulder-width apart, in the middle of a resistance band.
- Hold the band handles with your arms bent close to your chest and palms facing back.
- Push the handles up, while rotating your arms and hands to look forward, and extending your arms overhead.
- Return to the initial position by reversing the movement and repeat for the desired repetitions.
Form tips
- Exhale as you press the band overhead and inhale as you lower it back down.
- Use a resistance band with appropriate tension to ensure you can perform the exercise with good form.
- Maintain a neutral wrist position to reduce strain on your joints.
