How to do it

  1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, placing the middle of the resistance band under your feet. Hold the handles of the band with your palms facing forward and arms fully extended down by your sides.
  2. Perform a biceps curl by bending your elbows and bringing the handles of the band towards your shoulders, keeping your elbows close to your torso.
  3. From the biceps curl position, rotate your wrists so that your palms face forward, and press the handles of the band overhead by extending your arms fully.
  4. Lower the handles back to the starting position by reversing the steps. Repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions.

Form tips

  • Perform the movement slowly and with control to maximize muscle activation and reduce the risk of injury.
  • Exhale as you press the band overhead and inhale as you lower it back down to maintain steady breathing.
  • Avoid locking your elbows at the top of the shoulder press to keep tension on the muscles.
