How to do it
- Lie chest-first on an incline bench set at a 45-degree angle, holding one handle of the resistance band in each hand with your arms hanging down and palms facing back. Ensure the resistance band is secured under the bench.
- Lift your arms diagonally in a "Y" shape until they are in line with your body, keeping a slight bend in your elbows.
- Lower your arms back to the starting position with control. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Form tips
- Exhale as you lift your arms and inhale as you lower them back down.
- Use a resistance band with appropriate tension to ensure you can perform the exercise with good form.
- Maintain a slight bend in your elbows to protect your shoulder joints.
