How to do it
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and place the resistance band under your feet. Hold one handle of the band in each hand and bring them up to shoulder height with the band extending behind your body.
- Press the handles upward until your arms are fully extended overhead.
- Slowly lower the handles back to shoulder height with control, maintaining tension in the band.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Form tips
- Ensure the resistance band is securely placed under your feet to avoid slipping.
- Exhale as you press the band overhead and inhale as you lower it back down.
- Perform the exercise slowly and with control to maximize muscle engagement.
