How to do it
- Lie on the leg press machine and place your left foot flat on the platform while your right foot rests on the floor.
- Engage your core and keep your back pressed against the seat. Release the safety handles of the leg press machine.
- Press through your left foot to extend your leg fully, pushing the platform upward.
- Slowly lower the platform back down to the starting position with control. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch to the right leg.
Form tips
- Exhale as you press the platform upward and inhale as you lower it back down.
- Ensure your knee stays aligned with your toes to avoid unnecessary strain.
- Keep your knee slightly bent at the top of the movement to reduce strain on your joints.
